CAROLINE LONGMAN (HONS) MRTPI

Caroline is the founder of Longman Planning Consultancy.

She provides a highly experienced, professional and dedicated personal service to help you through the planning process for projects at all scales from the single house to major urban area.

Caroline is committed to providing a specialist service designed to meet each individual clients’ needs.  She provides effective guidance on a range of planning matters to professionals, developers, business, private clients and Local Planning Authorities.

Caroline completed an Honours Geography degree at Durham University before completing a Masters degree(MRTPI) in Spatial Planning at Oxford Brookes University.  She is member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and is therefore a Chartered Town Planner which is a nationally recognised mark of professional planning expertise.

Caroline started her career within the planning department at Aylesbury Vale District Council.  In 2006 she moved into the private sector working within the Thames Valley region.  Caroline has significant experience of both the public and private sectors and brings this knowledge and experience to Longman Planning Consultancy.

As well as town planning expertise Caroline also has particular expertise in relation to community engagement.  She has project managed consultation strategies relating to numerous large schemes.  This includes organising public exhibitions and focus groups and compiling and analysing consultation responses.
